“Change What You Chase | Your Future Is Following”
Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” He was revealing something deeper than money. He was showing us that the heart follows focus. Whatever you consistently chase becomes the steering wheel of your future.
Most of us don’t drift into the wrong life because we’re evil… we drift because our attention is unprotected. Without Christ, we chase things that drain us. But in Him, our focus becomes fuel. When you chase purpose, you start becoming the person God always intended.
Think about Peter: he walked on water only when Jesus had his full attention. The moment he looked away, he sank. Focus lifts. Distraction sinks. And a lot of the frustration we feel isn’t because we’re behind — it’s because we’re chasing things that can’t produce the future we’re praying for.
Your focus today is shaping the version of you that shows up tomorrow. What you feed grows. What you starve dies. If you want transformation, you can’t keep chasing distractions and expect destiny. Your spirit works like a camera — it only develops what it focuses on.
Hell knows it can’t block your calling, so it scatters your focus. That’s the warfare. But you don’t have to take the bait. One choice shifts everything: eliminate a distraction, replace it with an assignment, and let God build from there.
Your future isn’t waiting on a breakthrough — it’s waiting on focus.
Shift what you chase, and watch what God forms.
