Keep the Faith and Finish Your Course

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. That’s what Paul said. But if you listen closely, he’s not just talking about running. He’s talking about how he ran—and how he finished.
You see, it’s not just about crossing a line. It’s about how you crossed it. Anybody can start something, but heaven honors the ones who finish strong. The ones who keep going even when the crowd gets quiet. The ones who fight through doubt, distraction, and fatigue, and still hold on to their faith.
Some people say they’ve run the race, but the replay shows them walking halfway through. Others say they believed, but their steps stopped matching their confession a long time ago.
Listen—life is not just about activity, it’s about alignment. God didn’t call you to jog. He called you to run—and not just any race, but your race. The one He set before you. With your name on it. With your reward behind it.
So what if it’s hard? The gold doesn’t go to the most talented—it goes to the most faithful. You don’t have to run fast, but you’ve got to run faithful. Because faithfulness beats giftedness every time.
Finish something today. Don’t delay. Don’t defer. The medals don’t come at the start—they’re waiting at the end. And somebody’s watching you run. Your kids, your church, your team—they don’t need another starter, they need a finisher.
Almost doesn’t get crowned in the Kingdom of God. So lace up. Look ahead. And run to win.
