Seated to Reign | Authority Starts Where Striving Stops

Seated to Reign | Authority Starts Where Striving Stops

Ephesians 2:6 says we’ve been raised up together and made to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That means authority isn’t something you earn—it’s something you inherit. If you’re still standing in your own strength, you haven’t learned how to sit in His.

The truth is, without Christ you’re striving for ground that won’t last. But in Him, you’re already seated where victory lives. Authority doesn’t come from hustle; it flows from posture. Rest is not weakness—it’s divine strategy. The throne is not for the tired; it’s for the trusted.

Paul reminds us—you’re not waiting to be promoted into power. You’ve already been placed in it. The mature believer stops running like an orphan and starts resting like a son. When you sit in what’s finished, heaven moves on your words.

The enemy isn’t afraid of your grind—he fears your seat. Because a believer seated in Christ speaks with the same authority that raised Him from the dead. Thrones don’t panic. They decree.

So, stop exhausting yourself for what’s already yours. Sit down. Rest in grace. Reign through faith.

You’ve been raised to rule, not to run.
