Stand in the Fire | Faith Glows Brighter Under Pressure

When life heats up, don’t panic—God isn’t punishing you; He’s purifying you. 1 Peter 1:7 says the trial of your faith is more precious than gold. That means every pressure, every heartbreak, every late-night cry is working proof that your faith is real. The fire doesn’t expose your weakness—it reveals your worth.
Peter never told us to escape the fire; he told us to endure it until the glory shows up. Without Christ, fire destroys. In Christ, fire refines. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn’t meet Jesus outside the furnace—they met Him in it. Sometimes the miracle isn’t avoiding the heat; it’s discovering who stands with you in it.
Anything valuable must be tested. A blacksmith can’t shape cold iron—it has to burn first. A diamond can’t shine until pressure squeezes it into brilliance. Faith works the same way. God lets the temperature rise so the impurities surface, not to shame you, but to shape you.
When you feel the heat, resist the urge to complain. Praise anyway. Pressure is polish, and endurance is heaven’s currency. The hotter it gets, the brighter you glow. Every believer who stands through the flame becomes a lighthouse for someone else’s storm.
Hell fears people who refuse to run when it gets hot. Because fire doesn’t just prove your faith—it crowns it. This week, stand through one trial without complaining. Let the fire refine you, not define you. Remember, the same flames meant to destroy you can become the light that guides others home.
