Stop Making Excuses

Stop Making Excuses

Proverbs 24:27 says, “Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.”

This isn’t just advice—it’s a divine strategy.

If you're waiting on God to do something you haven’t prepared for, you're not waiting—you’re procrastinating.

The blessing is often delayed not because God is slow, but because we haven’t built a field that can handle what we’re asking Him for.

Some of us want harvest without seed, territory without tools, overflow without structure. That’s not faith. That’s fantasy.

Even unbelieving farmers prepare for their harvest every year—and they get results. Why? Because they work the field.

We’ve confused prayer with performance. Prayer unlocks access. Preparation makes it sustainable.

Noah didn’t just say yes—he got to work. David didn’t just sling the rock—he’d trained in private first.

Faith that doesn’t plan is just emotion. And emotion won’t carry you through the dry seasons.

Let this be the week where you stop begging God for the next level and start preparing your life like you expect Him to send it.

Your barns don’t need a prophecy. They need a shovel.

You’re not stuck. You’re just not moving.

Stop expecting a result in a place you never made a move.

Pull out your planner. Map the mission.

No more empty prayers over unprepared fields. It’s time to build.
