Title: The Devil Doesn’t Want You to Know How to Fight

Ephesians 6:12 – "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
The apostle Paul is emphatically teaching the Ephesian church that their real battle is not with what they see. Imagine fighting an invisible enemy.
The term “wrestle” lets us know this is not imaginary. This is physical. This is an in-your-face enemy that hopes you’re ignorant of their presence. This is not just a bad mood—this is warfare.
The devil is not upset because you go to church. He gets scared when you understand who you are and what you’re really up against.
The devil loves passive Christians who never use their weapons. He hopes you don’t even believe there’s a war.
Just because you can quote a gun model doesn’t mean you know how to shoot. Same with scripture. Quoting isn’t the same as fighting.
God is not handing out spiritual weapons for decoration. He expects results.
Too many believers are busy fighting their spouse, boss, or emotions—when the real threat is still unrebuked.
The enemy’s weakness? Truth.
You’re not broken—you’re just untrained. Stop thinking you’re crazy. You’re being hit by a hidden opponent.
And the first piece of the Armor of God is truth. That’s not a suggestion. That’s a command.
The real fight is invisible. Paul mentions armor because the enemy isn’t playing fair. The devil exploits ignorance. That’s his power. But truth dismantles his lie. That’s why he fears it.
You’re not weak. You’re just unarmed. Blessings often come after a fight—don’t expect to walk in favor without wrestling for it.
Without Christ, you don’t stand a chance. But in Him—you are unstoppable.
Satan’s #1 strategy? Distract you. Isolate you. Keep you too weak to figure out who you really are.
Today, identify one stronghold in your life. Write it down. Find a verse. Declare it in prayer like a legal warrant. And don’t back down.

The devil isn’t scared of your armor. He’s terrified when you use it.
If your church doesn’t teach spiritual warfare, they are training you to be a stationary target at a shooting range.
